Mustasaari is a summer paradise open for everyone. Mustasaari is open from 3rd of June to 10th of August 2025.

Mustasaari is a brilliant place to spend a summer day in the city while admiring nature, petting animals, meditating in the chapel or enjoying cinnamon buns from the island's own café. You are welcome to join a devotional in the chapel from Tuesday to Saturday at 2 pm. You may also take walk around the island's on two pilgrimage paths. Our sauna is warm every Thursday.

A new feature in Mustasaari this summer are the communal Wednesday evenings aimed at young people and young adults, featuring sauna, swimming, karaoke, barbecuing, sing-alongs, and games.

Mustasaari is owned by the Helsinki Parish Union. The island is open for everybody and situated fifteen minutes ferryride away from the buzz of the downtown Helsinki. For more information on events, services, and ferry timetables and prices, please visit Mustasaari's own website.
