On the Moonlit Path ‍

Marja Nevankallio performs on the concert kantele, painting a sonic picture of a nocturnal landscape: fields, forests, and shoreline settling into the embrace of night, bathed in moonlight. A moonlit bridge shimmers across the surface of the water. The music invites the listener to attune to the quiet, invisible beauty of nature. One can hear influences of Impressionism, Minimalism, and contemporary art music, alongside touches of more traditional classical beauty.
