On All Saints' Day, in the beginning of November, deceased loved ones are remembered. All Saints' Day reminds us of the hope for reunion.

All Saints' Day brings light to darkness.

All Saints' Day is a Christian feast that brings light to the darkest time of the year when people take candles, wreaths and flowers to the graves of their departed loved ones.

You can also join the ranks of those celebrating All Saints' Day on social media by, say, uploading a photo of a candle lit for a loved one and by tagging #sytytänkynttilän #pyhäinpäivä.

All Saints Day brings hope alongside remembrance and longing. The remembrance targets both all the martyrs in Christianity and others who died in faith in Christ. However, the word ‘holy’ does not only refer to the dead. Everyone who belongs to Christ is holy.

According to the creed, the saints form a connection that we can invisibly join. On All Saints' Day, we can pray: We want to boldly acknowledge you as our own and spread joy and trust around us until with all your saints, we get to see you face to face.

Love never vanishes.
