Let’s be in touch!

At the end of spring, I wondered who I shall meet of all my loved ones during the summer. It was a pleasure to meet e.g. old high school friends at a class reunion. It's wonderful that friendship lasts and deepens over the years! I grew up to adulthood among an excellent group. Bursts of laughter boosted our gathering. Our group named as the "class of the century" will meet again in 3 years. In the meantime, we spar with each other with various messages.

In the summer, I remembered the deceased. I thought about what else I would have wanted to do with them. It hurts to be separated from loved ones. In my heart, however, I feel that the whole family, all of us God's children will be together once more. In the words of Paul, "I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels, nor demons, neither the present, nor the fu-ture, nor any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that has been revealed in Christ Jesus, our Lord".

In lonely moments, nostalgia and longing remind us of the most beautiful touch and of love. Thank you, Jesus. There is hope.

Even now, I am pondering over the future. Once every four years, council members are elected from among parishioners to develop parish life and to maintain good connections.

Our current council members have conscientiously made their contribution to the creation of a family circle and a good spirit in the parish. Would you join the group? Nomination ends on 15.9. and the elections will be held on Sunday of Christ the King 20.11. My birthday and International Children's Rights Day are also celebrated on that particular day. A particularly great day to invest in building the future by voting!

Have a blessed autumn!
